I think that tolerence is means to kind of deal with stuff that either annoys you or negativly impacts you. Tolerence is a relativly important quality since if you have no tolerance you'd basically just get mad at anyone for saying anything that isn't perfect so it is in fact decently important for everyone to have. I think that everyone should have atleast a little tolerance for stuff even if it inconveniences them.
ReplyDeleteI agree that it negativly impacts you for sure!
DeleteI really love that last sentence. Nice blog!
DeleteI agree that everyone should have at least a little tolerance for things!
DeleteI also believe that every one should have tolerance so that they can not get mad in situations.
DeleteI agree with the part where you said that we should all have tolerance for stuff, great blog!!
DeleteTolerance is not being “bothered” by something that someone doing could potentially annoy you. I can be a tolerant person for some things and other things just get on my nerves really easily. I think it’s a good value to have because tolerance is not being negative and negative energy can make you feel stressed, sad, annoyed, etc. When people are cocky or they think they’re “all that” it’s really annoying and I can’t tolerate it.
ReplyDeleteI agree, it annoys me so much when people are cocky. Great blog!
DeleteI can't stand overly cocky people, it makes my head want to explode!!!
DeleteGreat blog Satya! Overly cocky people are THE WORST
Deletesometimes when i get mad i want to punch things
DeleteTolerance means that you can control yourself when something is bothering you. It means that you don't start throwing a fit and you keep it to yourself by staying calm. I don't have good tolerance because I find that I get annoyed very easily and I'll try to keep it to myself but sometimes I can't. A lot of things make me intolerant like people chewing with their mouths open, sometimes I have to leave the table because it bothers me so much.
ReplyDeleteAmelia I completely agree with the chewing gum part, it annoys me sooo much.
DeleteI can definatly relate to people chewing with their mouths open it bothers me too. Also I totally agree with your meaning of tolorance. Great job!

ReplyDeleteTolerance is when your not really bothered by what others think. Of course you still have emotions but an amazing value to have in life because then when your tolerant your able to tolerate all the negativity and turn it into good. Toleration also has a sense that you can now like "handle" it like you have "leveled up" and learnt that when your not affected by all that negativity it can all go away. Some things that make me intolerant are when people talk about the people I love badly and I really can't tolerate that because I don't like when bad stuff happens to them.
ReplyDeleteI think the same thing too!
DeleteIn my opinion, the word tolerant means “accept/accepting”. For example, a lot of people won’t tolerate bad behaviour because it’ll get on their nerves but they will tolerate good behaviour because it’ll make the person easier to deal with. I definitely think that I value tolerance in other people as well as myself. If I really can’t tolerate someone’s behaviour, I might want to talk to them about it but they might say something to make me mad and I might yell at them, and then it’ll be a whole big thing which is why if I can tolerate someone’s behaviour, it’ll make the friendship a lot better. Also, I don’t want to be that one kid that nobody can tolerate which is why I definitely think that I value tolerance in myself. For me, when someone just makes someone feel bad about themselves and they think that they’re perfect, it makes me sooooo mad and I honestly can’t tolerate that because that type of thing has happened to me and it makes you feel bad as a person, and I don’t think that anyone should be put in that position.
ReplyDeleteThat's my definition too! Your definition for tolerant is definitely accurate, good job with that amazing blog :))

DeleteI totally agree, I hate it when people are overly cocky and think they are better than everyone else. Great blog! :)
DeleteIn my opinion, tolerance is how much you can handle something. If lets say for example someone is really annoying but you have a lot of tolerance, you can let it be and wont be too bothered by it too much. Tolerance is something important in social life because you should know when you are pushing someone's limits. Being intolerant means that you can not handle something. Like lactose INTOLERANCE. It means that the people have an inability to to digest lactose.
ReplyDeleteWow u made it really easy to understand the message of it, u worded things out really well!
DeleteTolerance has two different meanings but it's the same word. (one is the capacity of how much you can handle, one is an attribute) Personally, I find that the word tolerance means an attribute that means to embrace/tolerate something (ie: an opinion of someone you disagree with) Tolerance is a quality that is important to me because others tend to talk or discuss about. People with good tolerance tend to accept and embrace an opinion they disagree. Intolerance means the inability to accept someone's opinion, choices, behaviour, ...that differs from their own.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion tolerance means to accept something no matter what the situation is.Tolerance is a way of getting along with people that u wouldn't always get a long with. Its a good quality to have because otherwise you'd be fighting and arguing with people all the time which isn't enjoyable for others and yourself.Ex.I tolerate going to school.
ReplyDeleteI agree that tolerance means to accept. Great Blog!
DeleteYessssss, I tolerate going to school too! but tolerance is definitely a good quality to have. I don't think it's fun to be fighting and arguing all the time, that would start a big problem. Good work!
DeleteTolerance in my thoughts is something everyone should have learned to develop because if no one can tolorate anything then most people would be annoyed very easily and get upset very fast and no one would like that. Personally diffrent things mean diffrent things I can tolerate. Its diffrent for everyone because everyone thinks diffrently. Some people might think a gathering with people just to hangout is fun and some might be annoyed of the hangout and can barely tolorate it maybe just because their in a bad mood or they just dislike things happening at this gathering. Overall I think tolerance comes with diffrent people diffrent people diffrent levels of tolorence.
ReplyDeleteTo me tolerance means being able to deal with something. It means not being overly bothered by something. I think having tolerance is a really good quality because it means you can keep control of your emotions. The thing that makes me very intolerant is when people have bad breath or something in their teeth. This annoys me a lot and this is why I brush my teeth three times a day, floss a lot and chew gum 24/7.
ReplyDeleteI think that tolerance means to be patient and not be bothered by someone who kind of bothers you, or annoys you in a certain way. Many people can get on my nerves such as family ( mostly my siblings ) can really upset me and I usually can’t control my thoughts so sometimes I just say whatever I think, which is a pretty unhealthy and kind of a rude habit to do for me. So just to say, I don’t really have a good tolerance for being bothered. But the thing that bothers me the most is when people leave you on “read” in a text message, or when people chew really loudly when they eat, but especially when people brag about how better they are at something than me, or when people cut you off while you were still talking... I just find it very disturbing!
ReplyDeleteI agree it annoys me so much when someone leaves me on read. Especially when you are in the middle of a conversation.
DeleteTolerance is really about how much of one thing you can handle. Personally, I'm super tolerant when it comes to somethings and intolerant when it comes to others. Tolerance is an important value to have, and its very similar to patience. You need to tolerate others sometimes to be the better person, or even help the person thats being intolerable. My sister makes me intolerant. She plays video games with her friends and she NEVER SHUTS UP. So that makes me pretty annoyed
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion tolerance is about how much you can deal with and, how much you can handle something before you'll get fed up or lose your patience. I do value tolerance. I think it is a very important quality to have. I feel that if you don't have any tolerance that you get annoyed pretty easily. Tolerance is a really good thing to have it it can really help get along with others and you won't get mad as easily. Some thing that really annoys me is when others throw someone like there friends under the bus, just so they can seem cool to other people.
ReplyDeleteYes betrayal is definitely something I also find intolerable. Friends are suppose to have each other's backs. You made some great points!
DeleteI think Tolerance means to be able to accept things even if they bother you. I value tolerance in others because if someone is not tolerant that means that they normally act out a lot and that bothers me. Saying that makes me realize that I’m that person who is not tolerant and does not have very good patience. I’m a very impatient person and that is the reason why I’m very nosy. If I ask someone a question and they don’t answer I will continuously ask them until I get an answer. Some things I don’t tolerate are when my sister doesn’t listen to what I say like for instance “Get out of my room!”. She will never listen and I will sometimes scream it at her. I then feel sorry but at the same time I really want her to get out of my room. Another thing I don’t tolerate is when I’m working with someone and when I send them an email to ask them a question they don’t answer. It is annoying because my work is very important to me and not doing it when I want to since I have to depend on someone is irritating.
ReplyDeleteI think tolerance is a willingness to accept behavior and beliefs that are different from my own, even if I disagree with or disapprove of them. To be tolerant is an important quality because it’s how people show strength in that they can deal with different opinions and perspectives. It helps people to live together peacefully. Some things that cause or contribute to me being intolerant is life stress, a lack of sleep, etc.

ReplyDeleteTolerance means to me that you have a lot of patience and can control your anger very well. I think that tolerance is very important because if no one had tolerance for others no one would be able to fix their mistakes or make mistakes without getting yelled at. I find that I'm very patient with waiting but I sometimes have trouble with having tolerance for when people are selfish or do things that just upset me a lot.
ReplyDeleteI completely agree with your definition of tolerance. Great blog!
DeleteThe word tolerance to me means to have patience with someone or with a certain situation. Wether you have different beliefs with someone, you still listen to what they have to say. If you don’t particularly like someone, you push aside your feelings and be civil. I do value tolerance but I value other qualities more. I think it’s important for people to be able to live together in peace. Sometimes peoples ignorance can cause them to be intolerant. Also, if they are very persistent, sometimes I find that intolerable.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog Amara! I agree with all your points and I like when you said to push your feelings aside and to be civil.
DeleteWhat tolerance means to me is being patient, nice, accepting of others. Being accepting is one of the more important qualities for me. It's being accepting to the LGBTQ+ community, different religions and stuff that you don't always agree with, like political views. I definitely think that being tolerant is very good quality to have and it's a quality I like to see in my friends. I think I am a tolerant person, but when I hear of injustices in the world in the name of someones beliefs or culture, I find myself torn between being tolerant or standing up for what I believe is right.
ReplyDeleteI agree with your viewpoint, great blog!
DeleteFor me I believe that tolerance is when someone is able to accept someone or something for what it is or it's problems. For example, say if at the start your mother is bad at making pasta you have to accept that at this time there's room for improvement and to have a certain tolerance to this taste of her pasta. Normally in my friends I hope that they have some tolerance to situations like if a problem comes in there way I don't want them to get angry and start yelling at me and to have tolerance in me because I find that tolerance leads to happiness and a better life. I think cases of when I'm intolerant is when I have to wait for my older brother to go walk the dogs and he does it every time.
ReplyDeleteIn my mind, tolerance means that you can put up with the good and the bad. What I mean by that is that you can get a bad grade and instead of giving up, you start studying more, putting more effort into your work, stuff like that. You should also be able to have patience and be able to put up with other people messing up and teaching them how to do something more efficiently and helping them improve on what they are doing. I think I can be intolerant when I know how something is done and how quickly you can do it usually and people can't do it at the same skill or speed that I can do it at. I like getting things done quickly or getting results quickly and don't like having to wait on someone else to be able to do something that I can get finished fast. That is definitely something that I am working on.
ReplyDeleteTo me tolerance is the ability to ignore something that bothered you or affects you. Being tolerant isn't the easiest thing on the planet, especially if it means ignoring something that bothers you a lot. Having a very high tolerance level is a very nice quality to have because being tolerant is very hard for some people. My brother causes me to be very intolerant. When he first starts annoying me, I can tolerate it, but it eventually gets to a point where I start yelling because I'm just that bothered.
ReplyDeleteTolerance can have a definition in the literal and figurative sense, for instance, some people are lactose intolerant, which means they cannot consume milk based products, and some people are intolerant in a sense where it doesn't affect them but it annoys them. I think what I'm the most intolerant to is being left on seen. I don't know why, but usually if one has time to see my message, wouldn't they have time to respond? Either that or I'm just self-centered which in that case... Yeah
ReplyDeleteTolerance is the ability to not react when bothered or to ignore what is bothering you.
ReplyDeleteIts when you accept races, beliefs, nationalities, political opinions, etc. When you are intolerant you are unable to stay calm when you are annoyed. Intolerant people get annoyed about different things like race and religion. Tolerance is important to me because my younger brothers bug me often and I try my best to no hurt or insult them back.
The word tolerance to me is to be accepting and understanding of where it be a person's religion or skin color etc. Yes I think that tolerance is a virtue everyone should value. Something that can make you intolerant is to not have an open and accepting mindset or just the way they were raised can affect their tolerance very much so.
ReplyDeleteI think tolerance means to accept others for who they are and to not judge them for their religion or the color of their skin, etc. I do think tolerance is a virtue that everyone should value greatly. Something that can make you intolerant is to not be patient or to accept others for their differences and their beliefs.
