Explain.

  1. If I could travel back to the beginning of 2020 I would change a few things. I would get rid of all the toxic people in my life (which I did) and not do all those dumb things I did that got me in a load of trouble with my parents. This summer was one of the best summers so far, I made better friends and we all had so much fun together. We went to pool parties, walked to downtown took trains to random places and had to bus back with no money and so many other thing. And I also met one of my favourite people ever Matteo. I think 2020 had it's ups and downs, for example I met so many great people but I did end up in the hospital like 7 times and got in a lot of trouble.

    2. I feel like we all liked not having to care about school for 6 months, good blog!

  2. All of 2020 wasn't the best year for a lot of people but for me personally I enjoyed my year but I defiantly wish some things could of been different because I did lose a family friend to Covid and I would for sure go back and try to save him somehow. The start of Covid wasn't to bad because I got a puppy but it was also a chance for me to train her so I was happy about that but also really upset because the day on march 13 was a going to be a great day for me and my friend because we had planned to see each other after not getting to see each other for so long. I would change little details in 2020 but nothing to big I was defiantly happy about my year.

    1. I'm happy that you enjoyed your year with the exception of a few things that you wish were different, great blog!

  3. If I could travel back to the beginning of 2020, I would probably stop that guy from eating the bat. If he hadn't, it would've been so much easier for the entire year to be able to deal with everything this year. With all the stuff that happened this year, even if we didn't have to deal with a global pandemic, we lost a lot of celebrities and role models for a lot of people, along with the election and social movements like BLM. The best parts of the year was quarantining honestly, it would have been really nice to be able to stay home and not have to worry about getting out of bed at 6:30 in the morning. All in all, it was a decent year, with a lot of stress and anxiety

  4. Only If I could go back to the beginning of 2020 I would before going memorize the lottery numbers. Then I would go see my grandmother because It would be the last time I will see her. Since the guy ate the bat in December I would try and warn all of the others countries of the virus in China and that its not a joke. Then I would invest all of my money into zoom. Also I will stop Kobe from taking that helicopter. I would know my real friends and make sure to always be there for them over being there for the others. I will also invest into tiktok because that grew a lot in the virus. I will overall with all of that money will help my parents they have alwats been there for me along with all of my grandparents. Finally I will record myself speedruning in Minecraft with my friend yelling my name and make lots of money off that.

  5. If I could go back to 2020 I would stop that guy form eating a bat. I then would think which friends were true friends and make sure to keep in touch with them. There weren't many parts of 2020 that made me happy. I did really enjoy the summer because I got to see a lot of my family.
I also really enjoyed the part when I saw my friends. 2020 was not one of the best year hopefully 2021 will be better.

    1. I still can't get over the fact that some seriously ate a bat X-X. Delicacy or not, bat's contain so many diseases it's unhealthy. Great blog though!

  6. Obviously I would get rid of Covid-19 if it was possible but I did make a bunch of online friends from all around the world because of quarantine so that’s something I definitely would not want to change. I also would have closed the borders faster then we did to reduce the spread of Covid-19. I also wouldn’t have sent us back to school as early as we did because we were getting less and less cases and by sending kids back we ruined that. I was happy we didn’t have to do end of year exams but everything else sucked.(Online school, quarantine, wearing mask, etc.) Like I said, I was happy that I got closer with people and even made some new friends.
Do you think 2020 was a good year for you?
2020 was definitely not a good year. Because of Covid-19, I missed half of my first year in high school and no one got the summer they wanted.

    1. so true! missing half of our first year in high school is not the best thing, and same with not getting the kind of summer we were hoping for, so let's try hoping for a great new year! good blog :)

  7. If I could time travel back to the beginning of 2020, I’d go see my friends and family members as much as I can before quarantine would happen, but if we didn’t want quarantine and all this to happen, I’d try to stop that guy who ate the bat, not eat the bat so this wouldn’t happen. But besides all that, I don’t think I’d do anything else to change about this year. The only things that have made me happy this year is that we were basically just allowed to stay in bed and in our pjs all day when they first announced quarantine and honestly, it was the only thing I was looking forward to. I thought 2020 would be one of the best years, but turned out to be really disappointing because of Covid-19 and all, but we’re all hoping for a better new year!

  8. If I could travel back to the beginning of 2020 I would change a lot of things. Most Importantly, I would move back to Ontario (no offence to all the people here) to be with my friends and family because at least when covid comes I would be in my happiest place. I definitely think that staying at home was rather a blessing than a curse (for me atleast). We got to have a big break from school which really helped my mental health. Overall, 2020 was not a very good year for me because I wasn’t with all of my friends.

  9. If I could go back to the beginning, I would hug all my friends for the last time and start taking precautions right away so that it wouldn't be bad like it is now. Or I would start quarantine with them so that I would not have to worry about not seeing them for a few months. Its not very healthy to not socialize, it can become unhealthy and depressing. What made me happy was that I still got to see faces from a social distance but I still got to laugh and talk with them. Thank goodness we have FaceTime because I think its what people use most often now. 2020 was definitely not a great year for me, especially when I didn't get a chance to finish sec 1 properly. I missed out on so much I could have done and I lost some friends because we stopped talking and seeing each other.

    1. yes same for me! seeing friends and family is important, and to start taking precautions right away is a really good idea, good blog!

  10. If I could go back in time I'd have my birthday party in early March, because I wasn't able to have one due to COVID-19 showing up 2 weeks before my birthday. I would also spend more time with my cat who unfortunately passed away during quarantine. I could get up and do things instead of staying in bed all day wishing to see my friends or something, quarantine sucked for me in that way.

  11. If I could go back to the beginning of 2020, I would change a few things. First, I would get rid of a few toxic people in my life because they hurt me so I would definitely get rid of them. Second, I would try and get in less trouble with mny parents because they got mad at me a lot this year so I would try and be less problematic. The only part of 2020 that made me happy was getting my dog. Overall, 2020 was a very bad year for me.

    1. I also would have tried to be less trouble to my parents

  12. If I could go back to the beginning of 2020 there is a lot of things that I would do differently. First I would go out more and do more things while I could. By this I mean go shopping more, try new things and just experience things and explore. I would also change my attitude a bit. Last year I had a really bad attitude towards school and most things so I would definitely try and be more positive. The most important thing would be to actually of started a bucket list earlier and accomplish more things, even though it was kind of hard to do most things this year I think it would have been a good motivation to look forward to the future and the things I could do then.

  13. I would not want to time travel back to the beggining of 2020, because too much panicking. It was fun not socially interacting too much for a few months but the amount of stress and pain outweighed that by a lot. 2020 wasn't a horrible year, of course it wasn't good either, but I wouldn't want to relive it again.

  14. If I travelled back in time to the beginning of 2020, the most important thing I would do is, I would stop Covid-19 from spreading very so fast and hopefully just keeping it with the one person who had it in the first place. Then, there would be no masks, no quarantine, we could actually see people and everything would be normal. I would also try and all the bad stuff also happened at the beginning of the year.

  15. I think if I could go back in time and change anything it would be COVID, because as much as I liked having six months of from school, it's been really hard to be at school with all that stressful stuff going on.I think that the most exciting thing that happened to me this year was that I took a video of my cat playing with tissue paper and sneezing. It was pretty funny

  16. I think 2020 was a great year for me. I got to go to school with my friends and I got to read a lot. I wouldn’t change anything if I could go back to the beginning because then the future would change and I wouldn’t want that. If I changed the past then the future would change and then maybe my life could be completely different.
