Today is International Women's Day!
Can you tell me about a WOMEN who has had a significant impact on your life?
Have WOMEN played a key role in COVID-19 response and recovery?
Explain.
There are a few but my mom is one of them. She has always been strong and inspirational. Yes women have had a big role in response and recovery of covid because about 70% of the health care force are women and they are more at risk of catching covid.

DeleteInternational women's day is a great day to celebrate women's best interests. A women who recently took charge is Kamala Harris. I find it so interesting how she fought for her position as the Vice President especially since she is mixed with Indian and other ethnicities that a lot of people segregate against. Other women who influence me on my daily decisions is my mom and my grandmother on my mom's side. My mom always teaching me the logical decisions. My grandmother is 80 and she still takes care of herself and other people and I really look up to her because she's still living a healthy life. Women have helped raise awareness about Covid-19 and it's spread as well as Men and all genders, and continue to help other communities.

DeleteI women who has impacted my life a lot was my mother. She is always there for me and is also the reason I am alive to this day. She spoils me, treats me and raises me the be the person I am today. Another women in my life who was there for me a lot was my grandma. Back when I used to live an hour away she would still drive there to babysit me and take care of me. Women, Men and all genders have helped with the Covid-19.

DeleteA woman who has played a significant impact on my life is my mom. She has always been my number one supporter through everything and is one of the strongest women I know. She has taught me many valuable lessons, like never being afraid to speak up about injustice or inequality. The majority of our health care workers (around 70%) are women and without them, I doubt we'd have been able to make it through covid-19.

DeleteA woman that has played a major impact on my life is probably my mother. She's there for me, raised me, and turned me into the person I am today. If she didn't exist I probably wouldn't even be alive! Around 70% of the health-care force is women, and without them it would have been exponentially harder, perhaps even impossible, to make it through Covid-19

DeleteMy mom is the woman who I look up to and who makes a significant role in my life. I wouldn't be the person I am today if it were not for her. She has taught me so many life lessons. She has given me so much and she cares a lot about me. I'm so grateful for my mom for always being there for me. Another woman that I look up to would be my grandma. She always knows how to cheer me up and she I believe that she is also a bold and brave person. I would say that the healthcare workers have made a huge contribution to Covid 19 recovery. Men and women health workers have all made a significance in helping Covid 19 patients.

DeleteMy mom and my aunt are two women that have had significant roles in my life. When my mom was 15 and my aunt was 19 they lost their mom to cancer so they had to help a lot around the house growing up because she was really sick all the time. They are both extremely independent and only want to help and care for others. They have the biggest hearts and constantly want to make other people happy. They are extremely strong women who make a huge impact on my life every day and I don't think I could live without them or be the person I am today without them.

DeleteA women who makes a big impact on me is my grandma.I basically grew up with my grandma because instead of going to daycare my grandma would just take care of me.When i started going to elementary school I would still l'; go to her house everyday to get away from my brother since she lived 5 minutes away from me.This past year my grandma had to move to a elders home because her alzheimers got really severe.Its been really hard for my family and my grandparents especially during this pandemic

DeleteI was going to say my mom, but let's be honest, nearly everyone is going to say their mom. So I'm going to choose another woman. My grandma played a pretty big roll. She loves me very much and gives me super nice presents. I don't really know how to repay her. She cooks amazing food for me and she also taught me math. She also cheered me on for events and games. So I think she had a pretty big impact in my life. Women have played a big roll in Covid. They have been trying their best to care for people who are dying. They probably got no sleep and were away from their families. It's like being a soldier. But they are helping us out and ending Covid.

DeleteA woman that has impacted my life a lot is my mom. She helps me whenever I need help, and always goes above and beyond to make sure that I'm happy and healthy. Women have played a huge role in trying to control the pandemic because something like 70% of the nurses/doctors is women, so they are obviously helping out in the fight against COVID-19.

DeleteA woman that has impacted my life is my mom. My mom has done so much for me and she always puts others before herself. She has always supported me and always making sure if I'm happy and healthy. Another woman who has impacted my life is my Nonna. She's been through so much but always knows how to put a smile on my face. When I was younger I'd be at her house almost everyday with my cousins, she'd take the best care of us. Women have played a huge role in this pandemic because I believe that 70% of doctors are women!
ReplyDeleteI feel like one of the few people that's impacted my life, is either my mom, my grandma or my aunt. But I'll go with my aunt. My aunt is always so supportive of anything I do and she is always so happy. We always used to have sleepovers and fun weekends together, we would always go to the movie theater, go shopping and go out to restaurants all before Covid-19 started and it was the best. She is always up to help me if I need help with anything and also taught me how to bake some desserts during quarantine on facetime which was really fun. I think it's a bit more than half of the health-workers in hospitals are women but have both contributed gratefully to help fight Covid-19, which has been really amazing as well for this pandemic.

There are a few wonderful women in my life like my mom and my moms best friend and alot of my friends. My mom is very supporting with everything I choose or do and I love her for that, she is confident and she fights for what she wants. My moms best friend is also very supportive, I feel very comfortable talking to her about everything and knowing that she doesn't judge no matter what I say. And all of my friends have always been there for me through everything and I am very glad to have them in my life. Happy International Women's Day!

ReplyDeleteThe two women who made significant impact on my life is probably my mom. My mom has raised me to be who I am. She has always told me to know my spot in society and destroy that spot (it's a weird expression i know..) The meaning was to never fit the perfect standards of society and always stand out. She taught me to be humble, to be nice and make sure to ALWAYS make a good first impression. Most things she taught me kinda backfired...She's always been a smart mother than a caring one..
My mum is the most important woman in my life, because she always knows how to make me feel better and she is really wise. I think women have played a big role in COVID because most nurses are women and a lot of teachers are women. I also think that they help people recover the most as well because I don’t think there are enough doctors to treat everyone.

DeleteSomeone who has had a significant impact on my life is my mom. She has shaped me into who I am today. I admire her very much because she was able to raise me on her own until I was around 5 years old before she met my now step-father. I think men and women have played a big role in COVID-19 response and recovery. All people on the front lines during this time have risked their lives from the beginning. Those people consist of men and women who have helped very much and who have made a big difference in our world.

DeleteA woman who has impacted my life would be my mom, because she is always there to do anything if it means me and my sibling are doing well, she struggled for a bit because she was the only one taking care of us for a little bit and she wasn't making much money, but she eventually got back up and started being the best mom I could have asked for! I think women are definitly the reason we haven't all died to covid because since most of the healthcare workers are women, if we didn't have them we probably would be much worse off
ReplyDeleteOne woman who has had a significant impact on my life is my grade four and seven teacher. She wasn't a teacher to family, she was a friend and was my favourite teacher. After my mom passed away she played a significant role in my recovery mentaly and honestly if I had some old man elementary teacher at that moment I don't think I would be mentaly stable like I am now. Women did play a significant role in the response and recovery of Covid-19 for instance when many schools wanted to shut down women and some men protested about it to keep schools open.
ReplyDeleteA woman that has had a significant impact on my life is Malala Yousafzai. I did a project on her a few years back and her journey and what she did has amazed me still to this day. Malala Yousafzai defied the Taliban in Pakistan when she was a young girl and requested that girls be allowed to attend school. In 2012, a Taliban gunman shot her in the head, but she survived. She was the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014. Women are playing an outsized role responding to the pandemic. They are frontline healthcare workers, caregivers at home, and mobilizers in their communities. If we truly want to deliver health, wellbeing, and dignity for all, girls and women must be front and center.
ReplyDeleteA woman who has a strong impact on my life is my mom. She helps me all the time with what ever I need . She is always ready to help me. She has taken care of me since I have been a baby. Women have helped with the covid-19 Pandemic, there are lots of women in the hospitals taking care of the people who are sick with covid-19.
ReplyDeleteA woman who has played and has had a very big impact on my life is my grandmother Kay. I live with her and my mom. She still takes care of my mom and I all the time. She comes and picks me up from school most days and always spoils me and brings me home treats, clothes, food. She still works her full time job in the pandemic, comes home to take care of me, makes dinner, and I'm so grateful for that. I think women have really impacted on the COVID-19 response and recovery because most of the people working on the front line are women. And my mom is a director of a medical clinic and she has had a very stressful year trying to plan hot clinics, cold clinics, people calling in sick, keeping herself and us safe.
ReplyDeleteThere have been lots of women that have impacted my life greatly but I'm sure like most others my mom has helped me through so much and I don't know what I'd do without her. I do believe that women have played a key role in this pandemic and without them we wouldn’t have gotten. I think the majority of nurses are female and they are one of the most important front-line workers.

She keeps me on track and I honestly don't know what I would do without her. I definitely think that women made a huge impact as the majority of nurses and doctors working front-line are female.
