Our Lives Matter Through the course of a historic year of civil unrest and the emergence of the #BlackLivesMatter Movement, teen writers from around the globe came together to take part in this national conversation about race, inequality, violence, and justice. "We are not thugs, they say. We are not victims. We are big sisters and sports stars, academic strivers and everyday heroes. We speak out for justice. We dream big dreams." These writers want more for themselves, more for their community, more for their generation. Who are the people you look up to and learn from right now? Who do you follow on Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, TikTok? Are they white? Or are they people of color, from all kinds of backgrounds? How can we spread the word about OUR LIVES MATTER? Explain.
I do believe in ghosts and spirits. I'm 90% sure there is a ghost living in my bedroom. I always hear random noises, creaking, like someone is walking upstairs, but this only happens in my room. I'll go into my mom's room, I hear nothing, but as soon as I go into my room, all the random noises start. When someone dies I believe they either turn into a spirit or a ghost who still lives on earth watching over their families. The other theory I have is that maybe the good people go to heaven and the bad go to hell.

DeleteI do not believe in ghosts and spirits, when someone dies I guess they black out and die. Im not too sure that there is an afterlife or reincarnation, and karma either, I guess one day we will all figure out though. Hope the last sentence was not too dark.

DeleteI do beleive in ghosts and spirtits because when I was younger my parents thought I was possesed by the devil or something. When I was about 3 years old I would be sleeping except my eyes would be open and I would be screaming like someones about to murder me. My parents would have to shake me to wake me up and when I woke up I wouldn't even remember anything that happened. There's a lot more to the story but this happened for about 3 months. I think that people that have been good go to heven and bad people go to hell.

DeleteI do believe in ghosts but Im very doubtful about it sometimes. There are sometimes little noises that I can't explain or I wonder where it comes from in my house, sometimes when they're not explanatory I think it could be a ghost but most times that's not the case. When someone passes away I do believe that they are judged weather on being good or bad person then they go to hell or heaven based on their answer. I don't believe in reincarnation. But I do feel if a loved one has sadly passed they can send u a little sign that they are in peace either a butterfly or other things in relation to that person.

DeleteI don’t really know what I believe anymore, there are many theories in this world which tend to confuse me. I believe that we go somewhere when we die. I just don’t know where and with who. We could be reincarnated, there may be an afterlife, but I’m not going to base my life off of theories. People always say that if you’re bad you go to hell and if you’re good you go to heaven. But I think we all start off as good people, it’s just that things can happen for the better or for the worse. In the end we shouldn’t be punished because the world shaped us, and the afterlife is like a brand new start.

DeleteI do believe ghosts could be real and I defiantly believe in spirits. My mom once told me this story that after her mom died she remembered the way she hated when someone left the kitchen cabinets open and one day she was inside the cabinets were open and all of a sudden all the cabinets closed on their one, one after the other. I’d say what happens to you once you die depends on your own beliefs. Some people may believe in reincarnation so in the afterlife they may be reincarnated or others will spend their afterlife in heaven or hell. Again, it’s all about personal beliefs. I believe good people are rewarded and bad ones won’t be as lucky but may be able to redeem themselves (depending on what they’ve done that was so bad.

ReplyDeleteI don't have an exact opinion on it since I always change my mind depending on the atmosphere, if it's at night, oh heck yes, there's ghosts and spirits and they're going to come at me at 120 miles per hour, but like if it's me watching netflix at like 3 am in the morning, i don't really care about ghosts. I need to finish this season of brooklyn nine nine ok. Is there an afterlife? If someone dies what happens them? I don't really know... I'll bomb that bridge when I get to it..

DeleteI do believe spirits are real, however I don't believe in the existence of ghosts. I feel that whenever someone dies, they stay dead, until a certain day, the day of judgement. When that day comes, people rise up from the ground, and face god as he asks them about what they've done in life. If they've done more bad things they go to hell, and if they do more good things they go to heaven. I do believe in an afterlife, an eternal one, however I do not believe in a reincarnation. I think good people get repaid by a ticket into heaven, and bad people get sent straight to hell, where they face eternal punishment, and have to face their sins.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe in reincarnation, but at the same time where do they get all those souls. Do they just appear is there some astral-plane warehouse where they just keep all the souls.
DeleteI do believe in ghosts and spirits because I'm always hearing these weird and creepy noises lurking around my house ( always during the night, it's way creepier than during the daytime ) and it usually always freaks me out. I feel like reincarnation is something that happens after you die, but we're obviously not sure. I think that people who are good versus bad people, go to heaven as a reward for being good, and the bad people go to hell, so like as a punishment/consequence for doing bad things.

DeletePersonally I don't believe in ghosts or spirits. I think that when people die it's the exact same as before they were born. I think that believing in the afterlife is really great as well though too. It gives you hope and kind of eliminates the fear of death and helps with grief. I think that people that do bad things and people that are good have the same experience with death. We just kind of fade away.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe in spirits. There are so many things on the internet saying they are, but there really isn't solid proof. Same with ghost. I do believe a bit on ghost but not really. I really don't know what happens in your after life. I mean, no one actually knows. I have a theory that when you die, you become a ghost. As a ghost, you like yourself when you died but are invisible to all the people alive. The only people that can see you are other ghost. You just simply roam around Earth. I do believe karma is a thing. It just seems more likely. Not even in a spiritual way. Like let's say someone robs a bank. They will probably get caught and sent to jail. Karma right there. If you do good, it's most likely someone will do something nice back. Karma again.

I believe that if they are good and haven't done anything bad then they go to heaven forever. However if they were bad and they weren't sorry for what they have done or if they did not try and fix there mistake they go to hell forever.
ReplyDeleteI don't really know what to believe when it comes to this stuff. I don't believe in haunted stuff, even though I will refuse to go into a haunted house because I'm a scaredy-cat. I don't believe in the ghosts people "catch on camera" because most of the time it's just something that can easily be explained, like dust or problem with the film. Spirits are different. If you believe in them that's great. Im still on the fence about it.

DeleteI think there is such a thing as ghosts. I think that when you die if you are evil then you stay on Earth and if you are good then you don’t go to heaven but you go to another plane of existence, almost like heaven but not heaven. I also think that you become your favorite age and you can choose how old you are because then there would be a lot of old people. I also think that all children become ghosts because they died at such an early age they never got to live.
ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to believing in spirits and ghosts, I never really know what to believe. Some part of me thinks that they're not real but in certain situations like when something makes a noise in the middle of the night I think someone is in the room with me. I always wonder if spirits or ghosts are in a room with me just watching and listening, but at the same time I don't think they exist. I think that bad people go to hell and good people are sent to heaven to watch over us.
ReplyDeleteI don't really know what to think about the whole spirits and ghost things, I think I'm in the middle because there is "proof" because of radio frequencys and stuff but that seems a little to convinient that we just have the technology to speak to the dead. In terms of the afterlife I think that you just kind of poof out of existence, which is hard to think about but the idea of having you soul, consciousness, whatever transport to a place in the sky where you can do what you want is kind of hard to think about and seems almost impossible.

The question of what happens to people when they die is somthing i have been wondering and think about for awhile and to be honest i think there are many possibilities like maybe its just feels like u are sleeping but you nevery wake up or maybe we get renecarenated or there is an after life thoes are possibilities that i have thought of but i can never decided on witch one i believe.
ReplyDeleteI don't really believe in ghosts and spirits there is no evidence at all but if you asked me when I was younger I would have said yes. I don't think anything happens when you're dead, you're just done with life so just live your life to the fullest and be kind and when you're dead, then you eventually turn into oil if you're buried. I would like to believe that in the afterlife the people that are truly bad get punished and the people who are good ascend to the life they want in the afterlife.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe that ghosts are real, but I do believe in spirits and reincarnation. Ghosts don't really make sense to me. Theyr'e just floating? I don't know, it's just weird. I think that when someone dies, their spirit and soul is put into another person and life just keeps moving along that way.
ReplyDeleteI do not believe in spirits or ghosts. I do not think that there is an after life, when people die, if they were berried they decompose, if they were burnt they turn into ashes. The way people acted doesn't change what happens to them when they die.
ReplyDeleteI think that ghosts and spirits are real. I think that when you die, the same thing happens from before you die. I do think that if someone has something to do before they die and wasn't be able to do it, they might be able to do what they need to then go back to what had been before you were alive. I think that they can only do certain things though. I think like, let's say that a girl is killed, and the mom dies after the murder, the mom can torment the killer for a while. I don't really know, it might just be because I think that would be kinda a cool idea for a movie or something.
